GB Realty is the developer behind Opus One in New Chandigarh. Here is what is on record about the company and its approach.
A group with roots across sectors
According to the Opus One brochure, GB Realty is “the brainchild of visionary entrepreneurs with decades of real-world experience across various business sectors with a strong national and international presence.” It is described as the latest venture of a conglomerate with interests in luxury hospitality, global student mobility, education, media and entertainment. This conglomerate is the Optas Group.
Purpose
The company was established, in the brochure’s words, “to deliver transformative real estate projects, in strategically located growth corridors.” Its leadership, including founder and chairman Gurinder Bhatti, has spoken to The Tribune about building for end-users rather than speculative trading, and about bringing hospitality-style service standards to residential design.
Design first

Global collaborations
