Opus One New Chandigarh: A New Era of Luxury Living
An introduction to Opus One by GB Realty in Eco-City 2, New Chandigarh — its architecture, international design team, residences and amenities.
New Chandigarh has long been spoken of as the Tricity’s next chapter. With Opus One, GB Realty sets out to give that chapter a defining address: a collection of 3, 4 and 5 BHK hyper-luxury residences in Eco-City 2, registered with Punjab RERA under PBRERA-SAS81-PR1267.
An address conceived as a single work
The project brochure frames Opus One as a single, complete work — “a single address to redefine living standards, undertaken with precision and artistry.” The land parcel is approximately 8.75 acres, and the brochure lists 688 residential units across nine unit plans.
Architecture with recognition
The towers are defined by a sculptural façade traced with gold architectural lines. According to the brochure, Opus One has been recognised by the Government of Punjab with ‘Iconic’ architecture status and has received an IGBC pre-certified Platinum rating. An international design team
Four consultants shape the project:
- Aréte Design Studio, Chandigarh — principal architecture
- PLA, Bangkok — landscape architecture
- LDP, NSW Australia — lighting and visual planning
- HBA, Singapore — interior design
Their combined portfolios, listed in the brochure, span hospitality landmarks from The Oberoi Sukhvilas to Four Seasons and Mandarin Oriental properties.
The residences
Residences are offered as 3+1, 4+1 and 5+1 BHK plans. As printed on the brochure floor plans, carpet areas range from 1,751 sq ft in the 3+1 BHK homes to 3,533 sq ft in the 5+1 BHK homes. Interiors specify Italian marble in the living, dining and foyer areas, Hans Grohe / Artize (or equivalent) fittings and Duravit / Villeroy & Boch (or equivalent) chinaware. A resort-like setting
Amenities include an all-weather swimming pool, a world-class spa, a lazy river with crossing bridge, an amphitheatre, the great lawns, a private theatre, bowling alley, piano bar, banquet hall and guest rooms. The full list is on our amenities page.
